The most expensive and popular types of kayak are the $4,000 Hawaiian sightseeing boats.
And for $1,000, you can take a tour on a floating island that’s about the size of the U.S. Capitol.
There are also the $5,000 floating paddle boats, $1 million electric boats, and even the $20,000 electric paddleboat.
But if you’re after something a little less extravagant, there are also other options out there.
Some kayak rental companies charge a little more than $2,000 per day, while others charge about $300 a day for a fully charged boat.
(That’s the cheapest option we’ve seen so far.)
The Hawaii Adventure Institute, which runs the island tour and kayak rentals, has set the prices for these boats at $1.50 a day.
